A Broward County businessman and philanthropist is also being remembered as a wonderful husband and loving father.
That's what Rita Case said yesterday about her husband, Rick Case, who passed away Monday of cancer at the age of 77.
Case started the Rick Case Automotive Group almost 60 years ago in Ohio, and he moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1985 to open what are believed to be the US' first Acura and Hyundai dealerships.
Case and his wife are credited with raising over $100 million dollars for local charities, and Rita says he was special, caring and one-of-a-kind.
