The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections says the Primary Election Day ran just fine, with polling locations fully staffed.
Wendy Sartory Link said on Tuesday that there were about a hundred poll workers who canceled last minute, but replacements were ready to go.
All of Palm Beach County's Congressional Democrat incumbents will be on ballot come November:
Lois Frankel and Alcee Hastings held off their challengers. Ted Deutch ran unopposed.
The Republican that will face Representative Frankel in November is Laura Loomer, beating out five other candidates in the GOP Primary for District 21.
In District 22, Deutch will face off against attorney Jim Pruden, who defeated three candidates in the Republican Primary.
The District 20 race has been decided, after all of the votes had been tabulated on Wednesday. Greg Musselwhite wound up with 347 more votes, or over 7 percent more of the votes than Vic Degrammont in the Republican Primary. Musselwhite will take on Hastings in the fall.
There were two primaries in Congressional District 18. Pam Keith is declared the winner in the Democrat Primary and Incumbent Brian Mast defeated his challenger in the GOP primary, setting up a general election battle.
In the Florida Senate, District 25 Incumbent, Republican Gayle Harrell had no primary challenger and was waiting to find out who she'll face in November. Corrina Balderramos Robinson will be that candidate, defeating Reinaldo Diaz in the Democrat Primary.
State Representative Tina Polsky wins the Democrat Primary in Senate District 29 and will face Republican Brian Norton. Polsky defeated former State Rep. Irv Slosberg. Norton had no challenger.
For the seat Polsky is vacating...there were two primaries in State House District 81. For the Republicans, Doctor Saulis Banionis defeats minister Silmo Moura. The Democrat Primary is too close to call. Kelly Skidmore is leading Michael Weinstein by fewer than 800 votes.
John Snyder is declared the winner in the State House District 82 race. He faced Rick Kozell and former State Representative Carl Domino. The son of the Martin County Sheriff will run against Democrat Elisa Ackerly in November.
In State House District 88, Lake Worth Beach City Commissioner Omari Hardy is projected the winner in a crowded field, which included the Incumbent State Rep. Al Jacquet and three other candidates. Hardy will face off against Republican Danielle Madsen in the fall.
In the Democrat Primary for Palm Beach County Sheriff, Incumbent Ric Bradshaw is the projected winner over challenger Alex Freeman. The Sheriff will face Republican Lauro Diaz in November.
In the Supervisor of Elections race, a Universal primary that was open to all voters, even though it was a Democrat Primary, Incumbent Wendy Sartory Link is the projected winner over Paulette Armstead. The results won't be official until November and Sartory Link's second term begins in January.
The projected winner in the Palm Beach County Commission, District 1 race is Palm Beach Gardens Vice Mayor Maria Marino, who faced former Commissioner Karen Marcus and Calvin Turnquest.
In the Palm Beach County School Board races, two incumbents look to be on their way to victory. Barbara McQuinn is winning her race in District 1 against challenger Bonnie Jo Pettinga and Frank Barbieri defeating Suzanne Page in District 5.
The race in District 2 was to replace longtime School Board member Chuck Shaw who did not seek re-election. Alexandria Ayala is far out in the lead over two challengers.
Looking at the three judicial races in Palm Beach County.
Incumbent Debra Moses Stephens is running away with the lead over her challenger in the races for County Court Judge, Group 12 Jaiana Seaborne.
In Circuit Court, Group 16, Incumbent Judge Jeffrey Gillen leading challenger Henry Quinn Johnson.
The race for Circuit Court, Group 30 was a three-way race with incumbent Jaimie Goodman leading, but he'll face one of his two challengers in a run-off in November. An automatic recount is being conducted to determine whether the other candidate in that run-off will be Adam Myron or Caryn Siperstein. Myron has a lead over Siperstein that is under the 0.5 percent needed to avoid a recount. In fact, after all votes were tabulated on Wednesday, that lead is just 0.17 percent, which may necessitate a hand recount.
In the Port of Palm Beach, Group 2 race, Katherine Waldron leads Peyton McArthur.
In group 3, Jean Enright has the lead over the former Riviera Beach Police Chief Clarence Williams.
