More students in Martin County found out over the weekend that they will be transitioning to remote-learning.
Six classrooms at South Fork High School are being kept home for two weeks after a student reported experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. That amounts to 75 students and six teachers.
Two classrooms at J.D. Parker Elementary School in Stuart are also transitioning to remote-learning after two school employees reported experiencing symptoms on Saturday.
Those classes were added to the ones that transitioned on Friday. Students in one class at SeaWind Elementary and another at Hobe Sound Elementary were sent home after a student in each of those classes showed possible symptoms.
There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 among any students or staffers at the schools involved.
