All that mask wearing is making more people aware of their own bad breath.
In a survey of 3,000 Americans, 57% said wearing a mask made them much more aware of their own bad breath.
The poll is sponsored by the company Dr. Squatch which also found 52% of respondents are concerned about their own bad breath because they don't want to be considered gross or dirty by others. More than 40% said they were concerned that bad breath would make them less attractive.
The study by the toothpaste maker also looked at how frequently people brush their teeth. Only 35% brush twice a day and almost 10% don't even brush once a day.
Nearly 80% said they feel off all day if they don't brush their teeth at least every morning.
