It's time to spice up your Thanksgiving spread.
A new survey finds that one-in-four Americans has grown tired to the traditional Thanksgiving meal. In fact, nearly half have already started to change things up, beyond turkey and the trimmings.
More than 40% even said they'd be willing to celebrate an "alternative Thanksgiving" this year. The list of "overrated" Thanksgiving foods includes, Turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, green beans, and mac & cheese.
These days, one-third of the respondents said they won't even bother to cook at home and will go out for Thanksgiving.
n the plus side, 69% said the best part of the holiday was spending time with family and friends, regardless of the menu. A third said they were just happy to get a day off of work.
