About 50% of students who enroll as freshman will complete their degree program in six-years. That's up from 40-percent and researchers are trying to figure out why.
Are students getting smarter or are classes getting easier? Researchers say there's no evidence that students are studying more. Others say high schools are graduating students who are better-prepared for the college experience.
Still, experts can't explain why time spent studying is down while GPA's are up.
