Mueller Report Has Been Released

The Mueller report says there is no clear evidence that President Trump did not commit obstruction of justice. The report states that if investigators had confidence that Trump clearly did not commit obstruction of Justice, they would have said that. The report does not exonerate Trump on obstruction and says a decision was made not to file charges because many of the President's efforts were in plain view.

EARLIER: The release of the final Mueller report is expected at any moment. CD ROMS containing the roughly 400 page redacted report will be delivered to the Capitol for viewing by members of Congress. The report summarizes Special Counsel Robert Mueller's nearly two year investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. During a news conference before release of the report, Attorney General Bill Barr echoed President Trump's longstanding claim of no collusion and no obstruction. He confirmed that the White House got early access to the redacted final report. Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team spent 22 months investigating Russian interference in 2016 presidential election. Barr has said the roughly 400 page report is being redacted to protect confidential and sensitive material. The report is expected to be released in the 11am hour, the public will have a chance to access the report later today.
