The "South Florida Sun-Sentinel" is being awarded one of the most prestigious prizes in journalism for their coverage of the Parkland shooting.
The paper won the Pulitzer Prize for public service for their reports into the shooting and its aftermath.
The judges also cited the "Sun-Sentinel" stories that exposed "failings by school and law enforcement officials before and after the deadly shooting rampage."
The Pulitzer board also gave special recognition to the "Eagle Eye," the student paper at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High.
