Facial Reconstruction Released For Skull Found At Key Biscayne Park

More than six-years after a skull and other remains were found inside Key Biscayne's Bill Baggs State Park, Miami-Dade police hope facial reconstruction will help them identify the woman.

Back in April of 2012 a park biologist discovered the skull between a trail and the tree line.

Anthropologists at the University of Florida determined the woman was likely more than 60-years-old at the time of her death.

They also concluded there was no trauma to her remains.

In the hopes of determining who the woman was, a Forensic Artist created the facial reconstruction.

The investigation continues.Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
