Fallen Miami-Dade Officer Jermaine Brown is being laid to rest today.
Friends and family members gathered to pay their respects to the 15-year-veteran in Cutler Bay last night.
The 46-year-old died while on duty when his ATV slammed into a tree along a canal on South Dixie Highway.
A celebration of life is being held today at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church.
Officer Brown's funeral will be private.
