Florida Third Most-Populous State, Fifth Highest In Growth

New population estimates show Florida is the third most-populous state.
The Sunshine State follows only California and Texas. The U.S. Census Bureau says 21.3 million people resided in Florida as of July 1st. The state had the fifth-highest growth rate from July of 2017 to July of 2018.
