In anticipation of their upcoming games in the Miami area, Harlem Globetrotters star El Gato Melendez took over the University of Miami to make an impressive backward selfie trick shot from a terrace located at the University’s Shalala Student Center to a hoop located at ground level. The Globetrotters star was joined by the University of Miami Provost, Jeffrey Duerk, who made an impressive bounced trick shot from the terrace himself.
The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2019 Fan Powered World Tour to the Rick Case Arena at NSU in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. and the Watsco Center at the UM in Coral Gables on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m.
