A number of Cuban migrants were not able to celebrate Thanksgiving in South Florida....
The US Coast Guard intercepting a vessel about 29 miles from Cuba that was in route to the US with 27 people on board....
The migrants were given water, food and medical attention before being repatriated back to the Island....
Overall nearly 300 Cubans have tried to enter the US illegally since last October....
