The City of Miami Beach is doing its part to help transition homeless people off the streets by getting them jobs.
More than 300 employment positions are available at businesses including various hotels, Amazon, City of Miami and Miami-Dade police.
The inaugural SOBE Hiring Event took place Wednesday at Miami Beach Botanical Gardens from 10a to 3p.
Transportation was provided for any participants interested in getting hired.
