Repair crews continue to make progress restoring power in and around the Tallahassee area following Hurricane Michael.
Still, officials report that about seven percent of the people living in Leon County are still without electricity.
It's a different story in neighboring counties, like Gadsden, where two-thirds of the residents still don't have power.
The number rises: 70-percent in Liberty County and 100-percent in Calhoun County.
Senator Marco Rubio says he's been encouraged after meeting the survivors of Hurricane Michael. Rubio tells CNN that he was in Jackson County Monday and saw neighbor helping neighbor with first responders nearby.
In total, more than 130,000 customers are still without power in the Panhandle.
Rubio says it could take weeks to completely rebuild the electric grid.
