A 17-year-old girl and her 18-year-old boyfriend are facing charges after they're accused of killing her father and hiding his body under blankets and towels.
Miami-Dade Police detectives say Evelio Gainza brought his teenage daughter to his Southwest Miami-Dade home to clean out her things last Thursday.
Instead, the unidentified girl allegedly stole his car and picked up her boyfriend.
It was Demar Turruellas, the girl's boyfriend, who allegedly shot the 63-year-old in the back.
The pair dragged his body into the bedroom and used bleach to clean up the place, according to authorities.
They've both supposedly confessed.
She's charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact. Turruellas is charged with second-degree murder.
