Miss Florida may not have been crowned Miss America on Sunday evening, but Taylor Tyson sure came close!
The 23-year-old Boca Raton native and Florida Atlantic University graduate was named third runner-up at last night's event in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
During the interview segment, Tyson impressed with her answer to a question about failure, saying that she has turned every tribulation and rejection she's encountered into learning how to be a better version of herself.
The new Miss America is Nia Franklin, Miss New York.
