Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is planning to do all he can to avoid fights when his team has joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday and Thursday.
The scrimmages will take place at TCO Performance Center followed by a preseason game Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Zimmer says he has talked with Jacksonville coach Doug Marrone and they are on the same page about zero-tolerance concerning trash talking and fighting.
Concerns about fisticuffs surfaced after a recent on-field brawl involving the Jets and Redskins during a practice scrimmage.
