A Friday morning crash along one main Broward County roadway involving a school bus has sent 18 people to the hospital with injuries, police say.
The crash took place along I-595 eastbound near Davie Road around 9:30 a.m
At least three cars could be seen with heavy damage following the crash.
Florida Highway Patrol officials say a total of 14 kids onboard the bus, which was from World of Kids Transportation, were transported to area hospitals - 10 to Broward General Medical Center and four to Plantation General Hospita.
Authorities say four adults were also hospitalized.
None of the injuries are considered serious, according to FHP officials.
The children were part of a group from a Pembroke Pines church heading to a volunteer project, according to those associated with the group.
