Memorial Being Held For Young SoFla Athlete Killed In Crash

Family, friends and classmates will have an opportunity on Wednesday evening to say a final goodbye to a Christopher Columbus High School star athlete who died in a crash over the weekend.

A public memorial mass for Ari Arteaga will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church in Miami.

The 16-year-old lost control of his Jeep and slammed into a pole.  

His girlfriend, Indira Rambarran, suffered what's being described as "incapacitating" injuries.  

The Our Lady of Lourdes Academy volleyball player remains hospitalized.
