On Tuesday evening, Miami Beach residents are being invited to learn more about the proposed Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel.
City officials are developers are hosting what they're calling a "conversation" about the plans.
That conversation is taking place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Miami Beach police headquarters.
The current proposal, which was unveiled last month, calls for an 800 room hotel to be built on a current parking lot.
It would be connected to the convention center via a pedestrian bridge.
