Reports say Florida Gov. Rick Scott has spent nearly $14 million of his own money on his campaign for Florida U.S. Senator.
The campaign finance report Scott submitted this week shows Scott contributed $13.5 million in cash and $500,000 for using his personal jet for campaign travel.
The report shows nearly $8 million was raised in other contributions since Scott entered the race in April.
However, that doesn't include $3.2 million raised by Rick Scott Victory Fund, a political committee aligned with Scott.
The campaign has spent about $18 million, much of it on television ads criticizing current Florida U.S. Senator Bill Nelson.
Scott is looking to unseat the three-term Democratic U.S. Senator.
In the 2010 governor's race, which Scott won, he spent about $73 million of his family's money and about another $13 million on his re-election.
