Florida Teenage Inmates Facing Charges After Causing Chaos At Juvenile Hall

A total of nine, teenage Florida inmates are facing charges and two staff members are nursing minor injuries after a melee at a Daytona Beach juvenile detention center.

The local sheriff's office says that after taking cell keys from a staff member, the 13- to 18-year-old inmates pulled TVs off walls, and refused to return to their cells in a disturbance that lasted a half-hour.

Each of the teens is now charged with inciting a riot and resisting arrest.

Six are also charged with battery on staff members and one is charged with strong-arm robbery for taking the keys.
