A man is seriously injured after being shot and crashing a pickup truck in West Palm Beach.
Local news outlets report that a woman driving along Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard saw the man crash a pickup truck into a pole east of North Australian Avenue around 6 a.m. on Friday.
West Palm Beach police say he was likely shot during an earlier incident on Tamarind Avenue. They do not believe the shooting was random.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Police say his injuries are life-threatening.
