A husband was arrested on Tuesday after police say he shot and killed his wife in their Miami Gardens home.
Authorities said the shooting happened at a home in the 16000 block of Northwest 22nd Avenue.
Police said the female victim, identified as Tamesha Phaarr, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband, Artie Phaarr, was taken into custody down the block.
It appears several children were in the home when the shooting happened, police said.
No other information was immediately known.
