The Miami Marlins are on a three-game losing streak heading into a weekend series against the New York Mets.
On Thursday night, the Fish lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-to-0 at Marlins Park in Miami.
Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zack Greinke pitched seven shutout innings and struck out six batters, but his historic performance as a hitter earned him accolades from his opponents as well as his teammates.
After the game, Marlins manager Don Mattingly complimented Greinke's performance, saying the pitcher has a better swing than 70 percent of the hitters in Major League Baseball.
