A new study says Jacksonville Jaguars fans are some of the worst in the NFL.
Researchers at Emory University in Atlanta studied factors including:
- How much money fans spend
- How often they engage with their team's online community
- The number of fans teams draw during away games
The Jaguars ranked 30th, 31st and 23rd in those categories, respectively, among the 32 NFL teams.
That put them at number 29 overall.
The Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers had the top five fan bases. Fans of the Tennessee Titans ranked at the bottom.
As for the other two Florida teams, Miami Dolphins fans ranked 14th and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans ranked 23rd.
