A brand new housing development in South Florida is opening its doors for the first time.
The Villages of Miami, a $38 million housing development offering 150 affordable rental units held its grand opening Friday morning on Northwest 67th Street in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood.
Local officials were on hand for the grand opening ceremony.
The Villages Miami is part of the Urban League of Miami’s We Rise Educational Village, an initiative spanning several blocks in Liberty City.
The development features a:
- Security gate
- Private clubhouse
- Pool veranda
- State-of-the-art exercise complex
- Wi-Fi network
