A hearing is taking place this Monday in Leon County Circuit Court in a public records dispute involving a controversial South Florida nursing home.
It's the latest in a series of legal battles between the Florida Department of Health and the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills, where more than a dozen residents died after the power went out during Hurricane Irma.
The center is seeking copies of death certificates issued for people statewide during and immediately after Irma.
Circuit Judge Terry Lewis has ordered those records released to the center, which claims the Department of Health has not complied.
