The city of Homestead continues its tradition of honoring Americans serving their country. Today is Military Appreciation Day. From 3pm till 8pm this evening they're also honoring military moms, both those who serve and those who are moms of a service member. Admission is free. There will be food, drinks, and live music. Fantastic flyovers, a K-9 demonstration and kids' activites as well.Military members can battle it out on an obstacle course for a chance to win a grand prize of $1,200. For more, click here.
