Governor Rick Scott visiting Tropical Textiles in Medley, Florida to announce a campaign pledge to make it harder for the U.S. House and Senate to raise taxes.
Under the proposal, a two-thirds majority would be required in both houses for any tax increases at the federal level.
An amendment requiring the same things is already on the ballot for Florida voters to decide this fall.
This 'two-thirds' pledge is the second tent post of the Governor's senate campaign, after he vowed to push for term-limits in the house and senate, if he's elected to the upper chamber.
