Eleven Florida cities are among the best places to live in the United States. That's according to the annual list from "U.S. News & World Report," which includes a total of 125 cities across the country.
To make the list, a place has to have good value, be a desirable place to live, and have a strong job market and a high quality of life.
Melbourne was the highest-ranking Florida city at number 29.
Austin, Texas, ranked as the number one city overall.
Also on the list from the Sunshine State included Sarasota, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Lakeland, Tampa, Orlando, Port St. Lucie, Daytona Beach, and Miami.
Sarasota was also named the top city to retire in in the country.
