Florida Highway Patrol officers say an early morning crash along I-75 in Broward County has claimed the life of one person.
The accident took place near the entrance ramp from Royal Palm Boulevard, where a grey car could be seen wrapped around a pole near the southbound lanes.
FHP officials confirmed one fatality, but did not release any details about the victim or if anyone else was injured in the crash.
The interstate was closed for nearly an hour following the crash but has since re-opened.
