Nothing Found After Monday Bomb Threat At Stoneman Douglas High School

Authorities say there was a bomb threat at Parkland's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Monday.

The Broward Sheriff's Office bomb squad responded and conducted a search but found no threat.

Additional deputies were placed on campus as a precaution and the incident remains under investigation.

Security has been bolstered at the school with additional sheriff's deputies being placed on campus since the school reopened; two weeks after a mass shooting on Feb. 14.

Eight Florida Highway Patrol troopers were added after a student brought a knife to school, another made online threats and the brother of suspected shooter Nikolas Cruz was found skateboarding on campus.
