Born and raised in South Florida, after graduating High School, Manny studied Political Science and Aviation before joining the Military and taking what was supposed to be a temporary detour into the Radio Industry.
Since 1989 he has run radio Networks for the Miami Hurricanes Sports and Miami Dolphins before long stints as a news producer and editor for both 940 WINZ and 610 WIOD.
While in the "news" side of the industry, Manny coordinated coverage of major events such as Hurricane Andrew and its aftermath, the 2000 Election, September 11th, The Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, The 2004 and 2005 Hurricane Seasons.
Now in his 24th year in radio and 20th year in radio news, Manny serves as Co-Host and Executive Producer for South Florida's First News with Jimmy Cefalo on NewsRadio 610 WIOD.
Manny lives with his wife and their three dogs in Southwest Broward. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, cooking, rooting for the Canes, going to Country Music concerts and playing Poker.
