Broward officials announced that they will close all roads at 3 p.m. and shelters will only be accepting people until 3 p.m. As of 1pm Thursday, 1,922 people are in shelters in Broward County.
As of the 2pm advisory, Hurricane Matthew remains a Category 4 storm with 140 mile per hour winds.
