Construction gets underway this summer on a new Holcaust museum at Florida Atlantic University.

FAU will be using what it refers to only as a "significant gift" from a philanthropist couple to build a 2,000 square foot museum inside the university's Holocaust and Jewish Studies Building on the Boca Raton campus.

It will be called the Craig and Barbara Weiner Holocaust Museum of South Florida at FAU.

The funding will be used on things like display cases and donated artifacts from the Holocaust, including tools for a eugenics study and a man's concentration camp uniform.

A Holocaust museum already bears the names of Craig and Barbara Weiner at Nova Southeastern University in Broward County.
