Many people are looking for picturesque places to live that touts affordability, safety, and other perks. While America has no shortage of these vibrant neighborhoods, several ones may be out of reach for most people. We're talking about the swanky, lavish communities where the houses are more like mini-hotels than everyday homes. The houses tend to have updated appliances, wonderful amenities like fitness rooms and patios, and many luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. Manicured roads and sidewalks, lush greenery, and nice cars are another hallmark feature of these neighborhoods. As a result, most Americans are comfortable taking a peek at the lives of the affluent and seeing what it's like.

If you're curious about these communities, Reader's Digest revealed every state's most expensive neighborhood based on ZIP codes.

The website said Florida's priciest neighborhood is 33921, located in the beach village of Boca Grande. This Gulf Coast community is home to over 900 people and the median household income is $136,190, according to U.S. census data.

Since it's also located on Gasparilla Island, residents and tourists can look forward to white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, neat museums, state parks, iconic lighthouses, and nearby destinations like Fort Myers and Cayo Costa.
