The latest victim in the Hollywood nursing home tragedy has died.
Alice Thomas, 94, is the latest patient of the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills to die after the nursing home lost power during Hurricane Irma. Justin Senior, Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration, says the state will pursue more aggressive rules to require nursing homes and assisted living facilities to have backup generators with power that can last for four days in the event of a power outage.
