Another toddler near-drowning in South Florida -- this time in Coral Springs.

Cops say a 2-year-old was pulled from the swimming pool at a home along the 31-hundred block of Northwest 114th Lane.

Detectives say the child had been in the water for several minutes but had a faint pulse when rushed to the hospital.

Cops say the boy was being watched by the grandfather when he somehow slipped out of view.

There is a gate around the pool, but it's unknown how the child got through it.

The boy's mother was in the hospital after having just given birth to another child.

Meantime, more tragedy in South Florida after ANOTHER child is rushed to the hospital following a near drowning.

A 4-year-old was pulled from a Hotel pool in Pompano Beach this afternoon.

Fortunately, officials say the child did have a pulse while in the ambulance.
