Survey: More ER Visits Since Obamacare Took Effect

Emergency rooms throughout America are seeing more patients ever since the Affordable Care Act took effect at the beginning of the year, according to a survey by the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Although it's encouraging that newly insured Americans are seeking medical care, many emergency rooms are getting very crowded and are having trouble handling the surge in new cases.

More than 75 percent of the doctors surveyed expect even more ER visits in the next three years.
