Scientists at Yale say an FDA-approved arthritis drug might be able to regrow hair for patients with a rare skin disease.
During a clinical trial, a man with almost no hair anywhere on his body grew a full scalp along with eyebrows, eyelashes and facial hair. It took about eight months for the test subject to completely regrow his hair with no negative side effects.
Researchers say they plan to continue the tests with other patients.
