As kids head back to school this week, families are expressing concern about gun violence in schools.

A University of Michigan poll shows that's one of the top five concerns of American parents.

Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, says it is the first time this concern is among the top five worries for American families in the annual survey.

And, Watts says parents should be concerned, considering there have been another 74 school shootings in America since the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in 2012, yet there has been no federal legislation regarding gun control.
