Miami-Dade Police may have resolved their problems, but it's a different story for City of Miami cops.
Trouble could be brewing between the police union and city Leaders.
They're at odds over how to resolve contracts that look to restore pay and benefits to pre-recession levels now that the city has balanced its books.
Miami Police Union President Javier Ortiz says they're willing to fight it to the end if need be.
"We're ready to demonstrate," adds Ortiz, "I've already spoken to the other unions and we are set for September 9th at 4pm to demonstrate the first budget hearing."
The city of Miami is expected to have more than 100-million dollars in reserves by the end of the year.
Both sides will meet again sometime next week.
