A lot of Americans may take their work home with them, but a lot are also taking their work with them on their vacation.

A new Trip Advisor survey finds about 91% of Americans admit to checking work emails while on vacation, and 85% admit to responding.

"40% say they're checking it about several times a day," says Trip Advisor spokesperson Erin Millard, "12% say they're checking in every hour or more."

Not only that, Millard says most Americans would be willing to be paid less if it gave them more vacation time.

"The amount they'd be willing to pay for an extra day of vacation is $350," adds Millard.

And as for paid vacation time, the survey finds Americans have least amount with 18 days per year, while the French have the most with 31 days per year.
