The woman accused of killing her Miami police officer boyfriend will remain in jail.

A Broward County judge denied bond for Tamika Thompson, pointing to an alleged note found at the crime scene in which Thompson allegedly made certain admissions which were not mentioned today in court.

Thompson was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree murder for the death of Carl Patrick.

Thompson has reportedly Carl Patrick accidentally shot himself as they struggled during an altercation.

But, the medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide.

Thompson has reportedly now invoked her fifth amendment privilege.
