Rick Scott and Charlie Crist making plenty of campaign pit stops in South Florida as the race to the governor's mansion heats up.

Today, Scott takes his tax cut bus tour to Miami before Crist appears in Hialeah.

The latest University of Florida poll shows Scott 5-points ahead of Crist.

But Crist tells "South Florida's First News" he doesn't pay too much attention to polls.

Both campaigns are spending millions on negative ads.

Scott's side shelling out 25-million, while Crist is spending about $9.6 million.

Crist makes history as the only candidate to be on the the only gubernatorial candidate to be on the ticket as both a Republican and Democrat.
