Florida's Senators chiming in on the latest controversy surrounding the VA Health System.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio is pushing for change. He's filing a bill that gives the VA Secretary the power to fire or demote Senior Executive Service Employees based on their performance.

Rubio making the announcement one day after the House passed a similar version.

"It passed yesterday with an overwhelming bi-partisan majority," says Rubio, "Members of both both parties who are outraged by what is occurring and want to bring accountability."

Senator Bill Nelson also agrees with Rubio's thoughts

"Some heads need to roll," adds Nelson, "The VA bureaucracy has gotten to the point that it cannot respond to the desperate need of our veterans."

The news coming after allegations that dozens of vets may have died while awaiting treatment at the VA health clinic in Phoenix.
