Palm Beach County commissioners are giving the green-light to a new project at actor Burt Reynolds' former ranch.

They unanimously voted to convert the 153-acre Jupiter Farms property into a 30 home development.  As a result of Monday's vote, the number of houses on the land will now be doubled.

Reynolds originally sold the ranch as part of bankruptcy proceedings in the 1990s.  Scenes from 'Smokey and the Bandit' and Reynolds' wedding to Loni Anderson took place at the ranch.
