If you plan to spend time outside this holiday weekend, protect yourself from mosquitoes.

There are three new cases of dengue fever in Miami-Dade which brings the total of locally-acquired cases for 2014 to four.

Health Spokesperson Alvario Mejia says it's important people continue to take proper precautions against the blood-suckers.

Everyone is being asked to continue taking proper precautions against mosquitoes...including proper drainage of standing water.

Symptoms can include headache, fever, fatigue, dizziness, weakness, pain behind the eyes, joint pain, and confusion.
